The Ligature Poetics of the Royal Air Force is an ongoing series of posters utilizing the five main ligatures

"fi, fl, ff, ffi and ffl" in a sentence. Initially, the content was intenteded to be nonsensical (and a single poster).

I extended the project into a series due to my interest in WWII history, as well as the challenge of coming up with topical sentences pertaining to the RAF that utilized silly linguistics that could be considered British wartime jargon of the 1940s.
